Article 23.V — Compensation · page 107 What this means
You're owed moneyYes — working a scheduled day off pays extra.
1.0xbase outside the OSP, or 0.4x base if you were junior assignedWork out what you're owed →This one trips people up
Reschedule pay and Junior Assignment pay are different provisions with different rates. Compare the original scheduled pairing (OSP) against what you actually flew — that comparison is what the pay is built on.
What to do
- 1Work out which happened: your pairing was Rescheduled into the day off, or you were junior assigned onto it.
- 2Save the original scheduled pairing (OSP) and what you actually flew.
- 3If it was a Reschedule with a layover into the day off, the extra day pays 4:12 or actual credit outside the OSP, whichever is greater.
- 4If flying was added that duties off after 0015 on your day off, you can declare UJA for the rest of that day.

How to claim this
The Agreement establishes what you are entitled to, but does not describe the Company's procedure for it. For the current steps, contact Crew Services or your Union representative. Do this before the deadline above, if one applies.
